Inchiquin Lake is a magnificent lake nested in the lush, Irish countryside and on the edge of the Burren.
The Lake provides us with a beautiful, scenic spot to observe all the wild life that thrive in the surrounding areas. Inchiquin sits gracefully at the base of surrounding hills outside the lovely village of Corrofin and is home to some exquisite species of birds, including White Tailed Eagles, Kingfishers, Grey Herons, as well as white and black swans, mallard ducks, and many, many more.
On the North side of the Lake, sits a ruin of an old banquet hall and spiral staircase, a great place to stop for a snack and a bit of exploration!
This tour is perfect for a family day out, and with our tandems, children as young as 6 can paddle with their parent and explore the Lake and it’s hidden ruins!
Kayaking on Inchiquin Lake will treat you to a wild life-watching extravaganza!
